At JHU, our priority is ongoing performance management discussions and reviews. For managers and supervisors, that means continually communicating and clarifying job responsibilities, priorities, and performance expectations, as well as engaging in career planning that optimizes performance and promotes professional and personal development.

Performance Conversations
Managers and supervisors should have performance discussions informally throughout the year with those they manage, as well as during these designated meetings: goal-setting and development, midyear checkpoint, and annual review in myPerformance.
