Hopkins Essentials

A required series of courses that introduces fundamental Johns Hopkins University policies and procedures for leaders. The program is designed for faculty and staff who are newly hired or recently promoted into roles with supervisory or managerial responsibilities. In accordance with JHU policy, all new managers and supervisors must complete the Hopkins Essentials for Leadership program within two years of beginning their position or receiving their promotion.
