2025 MLK Day of Service Community Partners and Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Amazing Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church
    Amazing Grace is a multicultural congregation in East Baltimore that seeks to be a safe, healthy, healing place for all.

  • Bea Gaddy Family Centers

    Number of Volunteers Needed:  10-12
    Tasks: Cleaning, organizing canned goods, sorting and arranging cookware and serving items.

  • The Franciscan Center

    Tasks: Cooking and serving food outside

  • Junior Achievement

    Number of Volunteers Needed:  10-12
    Tasks: Cleaning, organizing canned goods, sorting and arranging cookware and serving items.

  • Moveable Feast
    901 N Milton Ave, Baltimore, MD 21205
    Number of Volunteers Needed:  minimum for groups of volunteers is 5 and a maximum of 15 per group
    Tasks: Washing, chopping, and seasoning produce; prepping and seasoning proteins, bagging produce, packing, wrapping and labeling meal trays, sorting meals by diet, lunch/dinner delivery, wiping tables, cleaning dishes, sweeping and mopping
    Dates: January 30
    Time: 8am-11:30am (12 volunteers); 12:15-2:30pm (8 volunteers)
  • Oliver Senior Center 
    1700 N. Gay Street Baltimore, MD 21213
    Number of Volunteers Needed:  3-10
    Tasks: Volunteers  needed for 2nd Annual Oliver Center Open House to greet and escort seniors within the building as needed, decorate or dress tables for vendors, help with lunch distribution and clean up, engage in fun and entertaining activities with guest and members.

    Attire: Casual (but no jeans or sweatpants–t-shirts are acceptable)
  • Helping Up Mission
