For Current Employees

Whether you’ve been part of the JHU team for a day, a year, or a decade (or more!), we know you’ll have questions about benefits, policies, and other HR-related topics.

Be sure to explore the website to make full use of our offerings, to learn where to turn if you have an HR-related problem, or to find a specific HR contact. You also can use the links below to reach some commonly sought information.

Update Your Health and Life Benefits

You can change your benefits elections each fall during our annual enrollment period, but certain life events —marriage, divorce, or the addition of a child, for example—enable you to make changes to your benefits without waiting. Update your elections following a life event by visiting myChoices Health & Life.

Explore Our Support Offerings

We know that as your life changes, your needs do, too. So we have options addressing every age and life stage. Our family programs include breastfeeding support, help finding—and paying for—care for a child or aging adult, adoption assistance, and so much more. Our wellness programs are here for you, too, with physical fitness classes, stress-reduction or weight-loss assistance, and tools to help you boost your financial health. Be sure to also check out mySupport for help balancing life at home and work, both in good times and when you’re facing life’s biggest challenges.

Update Your Retirement Plan

If you’re not already saving through our retirement plan and would like to start, or if you’d like to change your elections, head to myChoices Retirement.

Find Opportunities to Learn and Grow

Looking to master a new software program? Or to better handle interpersonal challenges? Whether you’re in search of skills to help you in your current work or to prepare you for career moves ahead, you’ll find what you need in our Learn & Grow offerings, which include online and in-person classes, workshops, books, videos, and podcasts designed to aid your personal and professional growth.

Explore More

Remember, you can personalize the myJHU portal to quickly connect you to information of interest—about transportation, computing, travel resources, clubs and committees, and more. You also can sign up there for emergency alerts (you’ll find the link under the myProfile icon), which will ensure you get notified about weather-related closings or other emergencies. myJHU will take you directly to other useful websites, such as the IT help desk, as well.

Whether you’re looking to pursue an MBA or a Master of Arts in film and media, are about to send a child off to college, or just want a discount on Center for Talented Youth and other educational programs, our suite of tuition programs can really help.”
