myChoices Health & Life Enrollment

JHU’s myChoices Health & Life benefits portal allows faculty and staff to enroll in health and life insurance or make changes to your benefits, either when you’re newly hired or have experienced a life event. You also can view your benefits statement at any time.

Securing your future, even if your retirement is decades away, starts with a solid retirement savings strategy. Through JHU’s Retirement Plans Enrollment portal, you can enroll, view your current plan, make changes to your contribution, or otherwise manage your JHU retirement savings.

New Faculty, Staff, and LiUNA BU Members

If you are a new faculty or staff member, you will receive an email from Benefits, inviting you to elect or waive benefits. You must take action to enroll or waive within 30 days, or you will be enrolled automatically with individual coverage in the CareFirst BCBS Core PPO Plan. To help you make informed decisions about your benefits, Benefits & Worklife offers New Employee Benefits Orientations live via Zoom on the 2nd Wednesday of every month for new faculty and staff, as well as a pre-recorded orientation that you can watch on-demand. New LiUNA Bargaining Unit members are eligible to enroll in benefits after completing the 90-day probationary period. Benefits & Worklife hosts monthly in-person benefits orientations at Eastern on the 3rd Tuesday of each month for LiUNA BU only. Student & Learner Health Benefits
