Johns Hopkins established staff life design to help all employees access personal and professional growth opportunities through a well-designed life.

Life design is an innovative approach to navigating your career and living your best life. It harnesses a mindset of constant growth to help you purposefully discern and pursue what you want to do in life and how you want to do it.

The Center for Staff Life Design (CSLD) was developed to help achieve one of the university’s ambitious goals in the Ten for One strategic framework: to become a national employer of choice that recognizes, celebrates, and supports its staff and offers multiple pathways to professional and personal advancement for themselves and their families.

How Does Life Design Work at JHU?

Staff life design is a process that can help you reach your personal and professional goals. If you want to make a change in your life, career, or well-being, the CSLD has resources to help you.
